My creative pieces of work

Well after taking a while to play with Photoshop software, I finally done my last pieces of work and it's also my own creative piece of work. I get ideas from Pop art which is movement the art of my choice ... and I think I made such an awesome work ... Let take a look

The concept of my design: " Society and culture "

The first piece of my work and also my favorite and took me a lot of time to create it called " Night KL"

The original idea is from Andy Warhol who is the most famous pop art artist. He created a piece of work called " Life style"  which is about the night in Chicago... I found it practical and interesting so I created my own piece of work " Night KL". My pic mainly focus in KLCC because it's a symbol of Kuala Lumpur city ... I used grey and yellow color for KLCC because KLCC made from steel in fact, and got grey color when you look at that in the day time , yellow on top stands for the grey shiny light at night ... I was thinking of putting white but white will make my pic look boring and can't bring the shine of the light at night ...Next to KLCC, viewers will find many  buildings in different colors, bright and shine ... I want to send a message through picture about KL .. KL life style is lively, beautiful ,modern and bright
This is my second piece of work which is called " Coffee Hamburger"

I know the name of this pic quite " funny" Coffee Hamburger ... but you know Pop art is about real , practical, no mysterious, no hidden meaning ... It was made by coral green, light yellow,  sunny yellow, blue, pink , grey , orange ...  I want to make it impressive. I use yellow and coral blue , blue for my foundation because it's bright ... it will make viewers focus on the main object in each of the square frame

My third piece of work called Cocktail Cupcake

The element of this design : Cupcake and glass of cocktail , foundation made by many pieces of colors in different shapes, warm colors, pink, red, yellow, mustard, blue, green, yellow, orange, taro ... It 's practical and seem to be chilled

Next I'd like to show the process of my work

I'm using Adobe  photoshop 7.0.1  software to color and retouch my original picture. These are my original pics

Then I use photo-shop software and put the color for these

Conceptual Art vs Perceptual Art

Conceptual art is art in which the concept(s) or idea(s) involved in the work take precedence over traditional aesthetic and material concerns. Many of the works, sometimes called installations, of the artist Sol LeWitt may be constructed by anyone simply by following a set of written instructions.[1This method was fundamental to LeWitt's definition of Conceptual art, one of the first to appear in print:

"In conceptual art the idea or concept is the most important aspect of the work. When an artist uses a conceptual form of art, it means that all of the planning and decisions are made beforehand and the execution is a perfunctory affair. The idea becomes a machine that makes the art.
Sol Lewiss
In simple words, conceptual art is the art that is intended to convey an idea or concept to the perceive and need not to involve the creation or appreciation of a tradition art object such as painting or sculpture. It also can be defined as art in which the idea behind the particular work, and the means of producing it, are more important than the finish work.

Conceptual Art by Cildo Meireles, Bacelona
"Perceptual Art is a form of art that can trace its roots to the art history concepts of perceptual-ism as well as to twentieth century inventions of conceptual art and performance art."

In practice, perceptual art may be interpreted as the engagement of multi-sensory experiential stimuli combined with the multiplicity of interpretive meanings on the part of an observer. Sometimes, the role of observer is obscured as members of the public may unwittingly or unknowingly be participants in the creation of the artwork itself.
